Project Green AV Review of InfoComm STEP Rating System Draft 1

Congratulations to InfoComm and all in the industry who worked together to create this first draft of the STEP Rating System.  This is exemplary work and a major stride for Green AV.

The STEP Rating System hits on two of the most important topics in Green AV for the future.  First, STEP wisely focuses on the full cycle of equipment, awarding points for re-use, sourcing reclaimed equipment and putting in place environmentally responsible plans for equipment’s end of life (including recycling).

RelampIt! Distributors: Here's What You Have Been Asking For

Bohemia,NY - Distributors and dealers of Projector Lamp Services' RelampIt! brand lamps and services will see a long awaited change to the relampit.com website this summer. Projector Lamp Services is pleased to announce that the Distributor Log-In portal, which has been in development for a number of months, will finally be available!

Projector Lamp ServicesThis distributor only, password-based site will offer access to PLS real-time inventory, as well as a shopping cart feature that will allow distributors and dealers to purchase the stock lamps. Additionally, the distributor portal will have a "lamp log" page, on which distributors can submit the date of sale for RelampIt! lamps in order to ensure the beginning of the standard 90 day warranty.

Eventually, PLS hopes to have a shipment tracking portion of the site, to offer full accessibility to every aspect of the purchase. Of course, PLS will to continue to expand our relationship with all of our dealers and distributors, so feedback will be an important part of ongoing portal development.
