Stylish promotional items that complement your company’s environmental responsibility are not as hard to find as you fear.
GreenGiftz

GreenGiftz, based in Michigan, creates custom products from leather, sustainable Great Lakes sourced woodwork and laser-cut metal goods produced locally, to BPA free bottles, biodegradable wristbands and US-manufactured environmentally responsible shirts for event staff and attendees.

The company's popular, stylish event bags are sourced from commercial grade textiles that GreenGiftz saved from landfills.
GreenGiftz

When GreenGiftz is not able to produce promotional items locally, the company partners with Fair Trade Certified factories across the world, taking advantage of its 15 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.

Recently, the company provided branded, environmentally responsible items for ArtPrize, a two-week long event in Grand Rapids, MI, celebrating sustainable design and innovation.

Take a look at some of the products featured at ArtPrize 2009, courtesy of GreenGiftz.

Assessing Clean Tech

The Assessor from Dimension 85 is a licensed software program for use by all companies that use data centers in the UK. The Assessor matches performance to standards for environmental responsibility.

Philip Vandenberg, founder of the Assessor, offers the product to companies that have "the vision to understand [environmental] issues but don't know how to take it farther."

The software helps companies take that next step by providing a consulting methodology and making recommendations and management level analysis comparing energy performance against the European Code of Conduct for efficiency.

It allows organizations to "get market exposure by saying 'yes, we're Green," with the numbers to prove it. Businesses that use the Assessor software to analyze performance and design and track ongoing efficiency improvements, appreciate the ease of integration and the ability to develop and modify long-term strategies for continued energy savings over time.
